Get Out Your Pillows - Prepare to Yawn
Circa Joan and David - Cecilia
But I do have $30 in Kohl’s gift cards and a 15% off an entire day of shopping because I’m an MVC. (They said it’s Most Valued Customer. I think it’s Must Visit Constantly.) So, I’m thinking I may have to pick up these:
and maybe these:
Because they are beautiful. And those boots? 4-inch heel. Oh man. We’re pushing the 6′2″ level there. Happy sigh. There are several new people of the male persuasion that I have to deal with now and some of them still think that the smiling Hotfessional can be steered away from her beliefs. Gently, to be sure, but steered away nonetheless. Six-foot-two adds a new factor to the equation when dealing with some people. [Snort!]
And:
Oh I love that line. “That’s all you have to do.” Ha!
Yes, I will be participating in National Blog Posting Month for 2007 - a promise to post every day for the 30 days of November. Which hasn’t really been a problem for me since I usually have a steady stream of rants that spill out of my fingers on a daily basis. However, as soon as I clicked “Sign Up”, I immediately, simultaneously, went into a complete writer’s block. (Um, I’m not a writer. So, I guess it really means I am suffering from “not-a-writer’s” block.) Gawd, even my jokes are getting lamer and lamer the closer to November 1st I get.
If you decide to put yourself through this torture join in on the fun, remember to add me to your friends list. I’m registered as “Hotfessional”. We can commiserate about not-a-writer’s block together.
—- And I’ll take any suggestions on post topics that you want to send my way. Because otherwise, I can’t be held responsible for the number of “deaths by boredom” I cause. —-

HOT LOVE

Can’t you just print out a picture of those very pretty (double sigh) red shoes and hang it on your frig?
Love the shoes..all of them, but especially the red ones!! I love red shoes and these are to die for!!
Good luck with Nablopomo…I was going to do it but I’m out of town on the 29th and 30th and will have no access to a computer…
*sigh* SHOES. Love shoes.
I’m so glad you’re doing NaBlo.. another awesome blog to stalk!
Ok, to help you with your writer’s block and to ensure that I have an entertaining month of November, here are the topics I’m expecting you to write about:
Possums
Spleens
Feet
Public Bathrooms
Chocolate
Neighbors
Relatives
Dogs
Beets
Noses
At our house, we….
Wifely duties
That kid did WHAT?!
The weirdest food you ever ate
The one creature you’re most terrified of….
Things that crawl
Pet peeves
The things I found under the couch cushions…18
Your most embarassing moment
A boy you loved in school
It’s funny when people trip
What you wanted to be when you grew up
THAT outfit you wore
You have to write your entire entry on the given topic. You may NOT try and cram them all into one entry as you’re prone to do. ;P That only leaves you with one week of topics you have to come up with on your own. You can do that easy. Start with the possum.
oops. Sorry. didn’t mean to put 18 after thinfs I found under the couch cushions. I was trying to keep track of how many topics I had at that point.
Ok, as a gal who also wears a sz. 10 shoe, you know what - get the shoes. Who cares what they think about your feet - remember, Paris Hilton’s feet are way bigger AND, if they hurt - thou must have them stretched (or stick your full foot/shoe in the water - hence why you will see a floridan dunk a new shoe in the pool on their way out to work).
I’ll be doing Nablopomo - don’t know how I’m going to muster everything during this month of hell but eeehhhh
ha! I usually have too much to blog about and not enough time to blog!
I WORSHIP those red shoes!
I’m doing NaBlo too and have no idea what I’ll be saying every day.
I really love the second pair–totally cute and yet uber practical!! Perfect for work.
I’ve decided to turn your dilemna into a contest.
I love those red shoes.
How do you picture Shortman in 10 years?
those red shoes are bee-you-tee-ful. I’m not much of a shoe girl, but I do love red. The 4 inch heels are another matter.
I can never find anything at Kohls but Grandma clothes. And yet tons of fashionable people I know shop there. It does not compute.
Those shoes have me wishing I had married a taller man. I can’t be going all Nicole Kidman on him and giving him a complex. It’s flats for me, and I’m only 5′4″.
I just have one point to make here:
BUY.RED.SHOES.
Just DO IT already. It really may change your (wardrobe) life. No joke.
And, as someone who managed a shoe boutique for years, I’ll let you in on a secret- if a shoe is well made, it will look adorable and wee in EVERY SIZE and EVERY COLOR. It’s the shoe, not the size, that makes the difference. I’ve seen women in size 13s rock the red shoes and they don’t look like clown feet.
I PROMISE.
Um, the red ones remind me of Dorothy. Only grown up. And the black and brown ones are slick and spiffy, :o)
As if you wanted my opinion, lol!
Best Shoes ever! Too bad my podunk town only has rip-offs.

Ack - I just realized with all my “poor little me I can’t talk” crap and crud, I never answered you all.
Okay, verdict on the red shoes - if I can find them, and they’re comfortable (I NEVER buy shoes online), then I will. Because sometimes you have to just say “fuck it” and go outside your comfort zone.
And of course, NaBloPoMo - Helen, thanks for the ideas. I look forward to participating with all y’all who are doing this.
