What Are My Chances…

…of finding 9 Christmas-themed gift bags at Dollar Tree tomorrow so I don’t have to try to wrap my staff’s cookie jars and oversized coffee cups (while kicking myself for not buying them easily wrapped square things)?

…of remembering to watch the other (and much more famous) Ree when she’s on CNN “News to Me” at 12:30 and 5:30 Eastern time tomorrow?

… of getting my house cleaned and keeping it clean until sometime AFTER MomandDad arrive on Monday afternoon to give Shortman his Christmas gifts?

…of being able to rent Elf at Blockbuster tomorrow since, for some inexplicable reason, Comcast is not broadcasting it commercial-free? Not even on On-Demand.

…of finishing this entire bottle of wine?

I’m thinking the last one is the only one that has a snowball’s chance in hell.

I’m with you on the house cleaning, however, I decided it is family, screw’em. I’m content at this point that I got the house half way picked up.

Gift bags and stuff will still be at Dollar Tree- just a premonition. Oh, and look for Elf while you are there.

Big sticky on the TV for the CNN gig?! My cats would pick it off but what the heck maybe doing the sticky itself will remind you?!

The wine, well the wine better be done by now! If that is the case, the house is still messy, the sticky idea - out the window and gift bags? Who needs gift bags, they are oversized mugs and cookie jars -who won’t know who they came from - but damn, the wine was GOOD! lol

I taped the CNN thing. I was only shocked that she got 25,000 visitors a DAY! Is that possible? Because, wow, I have a long way to go before I am famous blogger then.

And really, completing the last one is the only one that matters in the gran scheme of things.

Good Lord…I’ve just watched the Youtube piece on Ree (who I didn’t know about til now) and 25,000 hits is phenomenal. I’ve had my site for 5 months or so and I’ve only had 4,500 hits. I feel so inadequate….pass me a glass of wine will you Mrs Hot? Glug, glug, glug…..ahhhh that’s better.

I’m saving the wine for Christmas dinner, but enjoyed a nice ice cold cocoanut rum drink. No blunk drogging here. My motto about cash: it’s always the right colour and the right size. Amen.
