Le Curve du Learning
She is steep my friends. But I’m getting there. Slowly, but ever so slowly.
Here’s one thing I definitely learned (besides the fact that I have the patience of a gnat’s lifespan).
No FTP capabilities from you-know-where, so during business hours, all I can do is post. I can’t fix. Which means that the fact that my old template had a 700X200 header and this one has a 750X200 header? Can’t be fixed. Until tonight.
Updated: Apparently, I also have the brain of a gnat because I remembered that I don’t have to ftp the graphic for this template. Therefore, ta-da! Fixed.
Do you know what that does to someone as anal as me? And I’m not even thrilled with the darned theme I’m using. Ack.
And no plug-ins can be added. Until tonight.
So, what am I doing? Getting my post in for the 7th day of WhatthefuckamIdoing Blog365 so that if I completely lose my mind tonight, I can, at the very least, say that I’ve accomplished 1 thing.
In the meantime, remember the suck-ass snow?

What is up with this weather? I’m NOT complaining because 62 in January is an awesome, awesome thing when you don’t live close to the equator.
I just know we’re going to pay for it later. But I’m enjoying the few days of it as much as I can!

Listen - when it’s 19 degrees in Orlando - you know I was cussin’ up a storm. Now its in the 60s and I’m still shivering like a ****h. They say when you move down to Florida your blood thins. However, my butt has STILL not gotten that memo.
Huh. We are on day 4 of a snowstorm. The novelty is wearing off REAL FAST, let me tell you!

Was it really 57 degrees today? Damn. Maybe I should move my ass away from the computer once in a while.
It’s been a lot “warmer” here too, our low has gone from an average of 13 to 25. I can walk around the house without my down vest on! Woo-hoo!

and we had THUNDERSTORMS today…the weather is definitely weird, first Cali gets snow and now Illinois/Wisconsin gets Thunderstorms in January….
Sounds like the weather here… Yuck. Blizzard-like conditions just over a week ago and now we have tornado warnings and rain today.
Awww. But I like the suck ass snow! It makes you so Susie Sunshine like! ;D

Isn’t this weather insane? We’re in a severe thunderstorm watch here in Lansing until 10 p.m. It’s so crazy that there are thunderstorm & tornado watches in MI this time of the year!
I’m enjoying the warmth while I can though! I hear there may be snow to look forward to this weekend…
I’m slurping up the high 60’s-low 70’s (yesterday and today) so that I don’t get so depressed when it gets butt ugly cold again . Alas it is the end of the warm streak but I am lovin’ it!

I am too much a perfectionist to mess with web pages, I would FOREVER be tweaking it. I am best staying ignorant.
I drive the guy that does spreadsheets crazy, tweaking the looks, content etc.
