After writing about those three flights of the Oz experience, I realized I had a 4th plane incident this morning. I think blocked that one out because it was entirely my fault. . . selective amnesia. I need to go add a paragraph.

This assignment has also reminded me of my time in France incubating the chicken pox at 16, sure that I was either coming down with the chicken pox or meningitis (thanks to Reader’s Digest article I read before leaving the US). I literally started breaking out in spots on the plane home. Fortunately, they were popping up under my clothes, and I got through customs.
