Paying it Forward
Yesterday, Kelley over at Magneto Bold Too picked (well, she didn’t, her Bunneh did, and how apropos, eh?) my name as part of her Pay It Forward contest. She’s going to review my blog on her site. Y’all? It’s like being asked to sit at the popular girl’s table in the lunchroom! Have you seen those awards on her sidebar? Oh mah holy hell.
It’s my turn now. All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post. Actually, you have to leave me a comment finishing this sentence:
“My absolute favorite part of my body is my {{blank}}.”
And fill in the blank.
Next Saturday, I’ll pick 3 winners (or maybe I’ll have Poopy the Puppy, Daphne the girlcat and Pippin the boycat) pick winners. (Snort. Like I can get the damned cats to do anything.)
You’re probably wondering what I’m going to hand out as prizes - because you may decide that it’s just not worth telling the world that your left boob is your favorite body part. (Although I think your left boob is pretty cute.)
Each of the winners will each get a custom header for their blog. If the winner doesn’t have a blog, or is perfectly happy with their header, or thinks I have zero-freakin’-artistic ability, then we can negotiate a different prize. My feelings won’t be hurt. (Well, they will, but I’ll keep a stiff upper lip and try not to cry too much.)
Candy has a header I made for her. She even proposed after I made it. We’re still trying to figure out the date and I think she’s making me sign a pre-nup, but I know that our love will prevail.

Because you’re the Hotfessional, I know I can be completely honest with you when I say reveal that my favorite body part is my tongue.
My reasoning is based not only for the OBVIOUS reasons, but also because I have a relentless wit and without my tongue, I’d have to rely on charades to get certain points across. Believe me when I tell you that 99% of people who know me would agree that my tongue skills far exceed my mime skills.

My favorite part of my body is (are) my eyes. I’ve always gotten compliments on them. They are green, which seems to be less common than blue or brown. They don’t gain weight or have days where they’re all frizzy and uncooperative. It’s the one part of my body I’ve never wanted to change.
While I am exceedingly fond of my left boob, it’s not my favorite body part. My most favorite part of my body is my brain….because I just think brains are cool, and I think it’s cool that I actually have one!

My favorite part of my body is a birthmark/mole I have above my left eye. I can’t imagine my face without it. It adds more interest than anything, I think, on my face and it is frequently commented upon. Also, it is not cancerous which is always a plus.

While many of my male friends are apt to say the boobs are the best part of my body - I have to disagree and say it’s my eyes. The eyes are the windows to the soul and mine are no different. One withering glance can reduce a salesman to mush or convey pleasure when I’m fondling a Loubou. I have no chance at having a poker face and if I’m pissed, my eyes will tell someone to back away slowly or if I think someone is full of crap. Plus, with the right makeup, I can change them from a piercing bright blue to slightly green.
I could also say feet so I can wear my kicky shoes - but they are bordering on Paris Hilton clodhoppers so we’ll just stick with the eyes.

Although I don’t need a new header I’ll participate anyway. My favorite part of my body is my right foot. I have a weird toenail ick on my left foot (only my left foot) and it is so bad that it makes my right foot look so pretty. I don’t have to file down the toenails on my right foot. Toenail polish looks so nice on them. I sometimes just paint the toenails on my right foot just to make my left foot jealous. As if my right foot were saying, “suck it left foot. You and your crappy toenail fungus.”

I actually prefer my right boob. I can make the men go running and screaming from your blog by going on and on about how that is the one that kept me in business back in the lactating and pumping days, but I won’t.
My favorite body part is actually a set - my lips. I’ve had a lot of friends comment and express envy over them, because I will never have to have the fat sucked out of my butt and into my lips to make them fuller. (Now there is an image that will send your male readers screaming into the hills…) They are naturally plump and have a great shape.
And get your mind out of the gutter. I’m talking about the ones on my face.

My favorite body part is/are my shoulders. Figuratively, a lot get piled on my shoulders, and they are strong enough to handle the stress. Literally, they are broad enough to balance out my child-bearing hips, yet not so broad that I look like a linebacker. They do a good job of holding up the straps to my fancy bras, since my boobs haven’t stepped up to the plate to provide a rack that doesn’t need additional padding.
My favorite body parts are my boobs. They are big, more than a handful for sure..DD…I like that when I am laying down, they always point straight up…I can turn on my side…and they point straight up! They just won’t quit pointing up no matter where I try to aim them…lol Glad I could share this with you!

So I should say something like my brain or my feet. And my left boob is, in fact, my favorite one.
But I’m choosing my lips. Because kissing just wouldn’t be the same without their cushiness, and their mega talent. (Did I just say mega talent? I only meant super.) I lucked out to have full lips, which is a relief, since I really don’t want to look like Laurie on Desperate Housewives. Though I wish I were skinny like her. But her lips are weird.

I don’t want a new header, but I do want to particpate, because I think these little exercises are SO IMPORTANT for people … we tend to forget the GOOD things about ourselves in this crazy, hectic world.
So.
My best physical attribute are my legs, hands down. Partly genetics and partly toned from 17 years of dance training, they are long and slim and shapely. I love it when the warm weather comes and I can break out the shorts. I always hope the beauty of my legs will distract from the spare tire around my belly.

I once would have said that my eyes were my favorite feature, but as I grow older, I have discovered the only part of me that isn’t currently sagging, wrinkled, gray or puffy are my shoulders. I have lovely shoulders (for the time being) and like to show them off.
