Shortman is off for Spring Break.
Rope in the basement.
Ha! I guess he’s not used to having both of us around all day long. You’d think I’ve done more than sit up in my little room with the cats and the phone glued to the side of my head.

Y’all? I love my mother to death. I’m kinda like a mother daughter Lion when it comes to protecting her. So, although she can piss me off beyond belief, it’s usually because I turn into a complete child when she talks in that voice.

I have a vacation day scheduled for today so I can go see my Detroit Tigers (record 0-3 mah holy hell…what happened?) beat try to beat up on the Chicago White Sox. My hometown vs. my second home. It’s raining. I want a real-honest-to-goodness ballpark hotdog.

That’s all I have right now. I wanted to get this written so that if I get stuck at the ballgame because of multiple rain delays or hot dog overdose, I can still count this as post #95 this year.
Now, I must go risk the wrath of Shortman. We have to leave in an hour or so to get downtown. He’s still in bed, and he hates me with the heat of a thousand suns today because I made him an appointment to get his hair cut yesterday. And, according to him, “She couldn’t cut hair for crap. Look at this! It’s the stupidest hair cut ever.” (Or some such mumbling that came spewing out of his mouth as he walked past me on the way to his bedroom and slammed the door. He came out long enough to get some pizza, roll his eyes, and tell me again he hated the haircut.
