For May’s Hotlight, let’s do gardening sites! Send me your favorite blog about plants, flowers, and other grow-y things by May 24th, and I’ll get them hotlighted by the end of the month.

And I needed to check:

You Are A Lily

You are a nurturer and all around natural therapist.
People see you as their rock. And they are able to depend on you.You are a soothing influence. You can make people feel better with a few words.Your caring has more of an impact than even you realize.

What Flower Are You?

Aw.  I am a saint.  (Who says fuck way too often?)

and here’s another:

What These Tulips Say About You

You are very popular and universally admired.
You are often hopelessly in love, and you connect to other people easily. You are a naturally cheerful and upbeat person. You have an amazing smile.

What Do The Flowers You Pick Say About You?

Amazing smile, makes sure people don’t stare at the bald head!

or this:

You Are a Purple Flower

A purple flower tends to represent success, grace, and elegance.
At times, you are faithful like a violet. And other times, you represent luxury, like a wisteria. And more than you wish, you find yourself heartbroken like a lilac.

What Color Flower Are You?

Grace?  Gah!  Tell my mother that.

—- Now, go dance around the stripper pole maypole. But don’t forget to send me gardening sites! Send an email with “Hotlight-May” in the subject to “reereep(at)gmail(dot)com” or leave me a comment here. —-

May 1 just means that rent is due.

And also that it will still rain even though April showers are supposed to bring May flowers.

I love that graphic map thingy. It is lovely and interesting. I’m totally stealing it.

Also, my blog is not really about gardening, but I love this post I just wrote: http://magpiemusing.blogspot.com/2008/04/playing-round-garden-trees.html

I think it’s not what you were looking for but…

The maypole is actually meant to resemble an erect penis.

    Also, I’m an Iris:

You are incredibly hopeful and courageous.
Even when you’ve been challenged in life, you have faith that everything will work out.
Your feelings run deep, and you are a very grateful person.

Despite the fact that fushia and black are my signature colors . . .

A white flower tends to represent purity, simple beauty, and modesty.
At times, you are dignified like a magnolia.
And at other times, you represent great ecstasy, like a white orchid.
And more than you wish, you’re a little boastful, like a white hydrangea.

WhooooHooooo! SNAP!! I am a Lily as well. (Although I picked the Orchids in the second one, and came up a Blue Flower in the third one ~ cold, really, how the hell can a colored flower be cold?)
Now, how exactly can one be a “Natural Therapist” and “cold” at the same time? LOL

I kill all things living. Well, of the plant variety. The only thing that survives is my Aerogarden and that’s only because it has ME on a schedule. Which reminds me - I need to plant stuff in it this weekend. It’s getting dormant.

That picture - Ihazheadache. That’s Hotfessional.com? I thought twitter stats was frightening, but that - oh.my.holy.hell.

I am off to locate a stripper pole and break in the new shoes now - or sleep. Yeah, sleep sounds better ;)

Love the new header and my sassy button!!
