Fear and Love in 2008
John McCain hates me,
This I know to be true,
Because he hates the bloggers,
In the name of red, white and blue.
The weekend is nearly over,
Back to work I must go,
Well, back upstairs anyway,
Because my checkbook tells me so.
The grill-master was at it again,
Whitefish, brushed with olive oil,
Spinach, with garlic and onion,
Asparagus, roasted in foil.
And now I sit with my wine,
After three days filled with bliss,
Blue skies, gentle breezes, family,
Feeling that nothing’s amiss.
Oh, that thing about Mr. McCain?
You know I’m not political, dear,
But I think he’s afraid of all of us,
And he gives me something to fear.

I can hear his denture lisp in my head saying, “The Pony Ex-shpresh!” Actually, the voice I heard is Carol Channing’s, which is actually a pretty good match for his actual voice (voicshe).

I am unsure why he would *hate* bloggers, unless it is because he is, like, the age of a dinosaur, born before the discovery of fire, and one of the groupies of the inventor of the wheel. Maybe he is just literally too old to understand.
I think that it seriously makes him look completely out of touch with the world as it stands. *If* I had been considering placing him in a position of power, I would be seriously reconsidering right about now.
McBush (er… McCain) can hate me all he wants. I’ve hated him for quite some time so the feeling is mutual. That and his freaky, space alien looking wife.

I already disliked the guy, mainly because of his hair. But did he honestly realize that by saying that he was saying he hated a very large percentage of the voting public? That’s like saying he hates blonds or fat people.
