WW - Curious Cat
I wondered what she was looking at:

then later I saw:

after it climbed up the window.
—- So glad there’s thick glass and screen between her and Daddy Longlegs. She’s a first-class hunter of all things small. —-

I just read somewhere that Daddy LongLegs are one of the most deadly spiders for humans, but their mouths are too small to get a good bite of us.
Eat up, kitty kitty.

Our cats spent last night hunting the dog. I have no idea how many times I tried to kill ALL my animals.

Good kitty, eat the spider. Freakin’ HATE those things. I seem to have passed my loathing on to my two little ones.

Good thing that’s a fairly benign ‘bug’.

Lovely kitty. Lovely spider. (I’m all for anything that will eat mosquitoes. And I think daddy long-legs eat mosquitoes.)
I don’t have a cat. My Russ - big dumb dog that he is - would eat a cat. Maybe. The one time he was exposed to a cat he moistened it with his drool quite handily. But there was no blood. So maybe he just wants to use a cat as a napkin.

oh yes…both our cats eat bugs…it’s rather nice to be a relatively bug free home

*shudder*.. we have them INside the house. And it’s a myth that they are deadly but cannot bite… so don’t worry about them! But I still would gross out if something ate one… would be one of my dogs since we don’t have cats…

Driving with my wife the other day:
Mrs. LNU: Oh my G-d! There’s a spider by my door the size of a quarter! Kill it!
[Pull over]
[open passenger door]
[swat spider out of car]
[continue driving]
Hank: Why couldn’t you do that?
Mrs. LNU: You’re the man, you kill the insects. How big was that! It was probably poisonous.
[10 minute conversation about how poisonous some insects, especially spiders, are]
[Hank looks over and sees the same spider back in the same spot]
[Hank pulls over without saying why]
Hank: Honey, you might want to scoot towards me a little bit.
Mrs. LNU: Aaaaaahhhhhggggghhhh! [Mrs. LNU is just suddenly in the back seat, like she was sucked there by a black hole suddenly appearing in the back seat]
[SWAT! with the Crocs]
RIP Huge Spider
I still haven’t heard the end of it.

I can’t STAND spiders when they are on a screen! Or any bug for that matter. Thank goodness our cats eat all the bugs in the house. EWWW, EWWW and EWWW!
