The Good
Pink kitten noses
provide much needed relief
from stupid meetings.
The Bad
When you do not call
for a scheduled discussion
I ignore your ass.
There’s a consulting firm in this area that I’ve done business with in the past. For the past several months, I’ve been getting repeated calls from one of their recruiters - he wants to find me a job. Which, okay. I get it. When you place a relatively high-priced Hotfessional, you get a nice little chunk of change in your own pocket. It’s kind of nice to be lusted after popular.
But until now, it made no sense for him to start looking. I daresay that most employers wouldn’t have wanted to wait until December 1st for me to plant my ass in a chair for them - and I wasn’t going to be available until then. Because, y’know, current job = busy and location = home and severance package = not something to walk out on.
With less than 30 days until my official “oh mah holy hell I’m done” date, though, when Mr. Pimp Recruiter called last week, I set up an appointment to talk through my qualifications and demands desires.
The meeting? This morning at 9 a.m. See the haiku and picture up there? Can you guess who did NOT call? Can you guess who is now on the Hotfessional Shitlist?

Thank you for the look into the future cleanliness of my home. I can’t imagine the mess with two (at least) teenaged boys.
And too bad about the recruiter. I’d suggest you move here, but pretty much nobody but doctors and lawyers make over $80k here.

His room is way cleaner than my teenage brothers room but what is with the fan and electric blanket? Laziness perhaps, kind of like not taking those x-mas lights down huh? That way they’ll be there and ready to go when they are needed again. Ha.
But the good…that’s so good!
I love Haiku fridays. Used to shoot haiku emails back and forth with a co-worker all day friday. Some of them were pretty good.

I’m sorry. I will just come right out and say it. You reported on some very relevant, worthy things that I am glad you are getting the word out about.
However.
When I got to the pictures of Shortman’s room, I was just so not impressed. I have debated, in the past, about taking a picture of Keelan’s own personal pigsty and posting it, and have time and again decided against it. While I am sure the posted pic would cause a furor in the blog world, I am not entirely certain that the city of Dickinson wouldn’t show up and condemn it.
This is something she would probably never forgive me for.
Now I’m really reconsidering. Besides, it would even make you feel better about Shortman’s room. And isn’t that what having friends is all about?
