This made me laugh cause a HUGE news story here is some British (?) tv show was filming in outback Australia and they cooked and ate a rat.

Which apparently was domesticated.

And now they are being sued for animal cruelty.

Heh heh heh.

Rats.

*shudder*

I can appreciate cute pictures of rats and understand how they make good pets and why people enjoy them.

But…

When I see one in person I scream like a boiling tea kettle and leap onto the nearest high surface. Even if I’m at the vets office, the rat is a pet in a carrier and the surface is a coffee table that breaks into several pieces when I land on it. *ahem, true story* It must be something PSYCHOLOGICAL (like how I did that?) that I learned subconsciously in childhood.

my best girl had rats for pets and said they were wonderful. Only thing, they don’t live long enough for me.

Ha! Once a rat bit through my thumb. Ouch!

Oh and I had pet rats as a teen, the multiplied like crazy. Horny little rats.
