Grace In Small Things: 59/365

Published by Ree at 11:53 pm under Grace in Small Things

  • Leftover pasta for lunch.
  • Not having a 6:45 a.m. flight in the morning.
  • Saying, “WTF” to my mother and having her laugh.
  • Seeing wild turkeys in the old pumpkin patch today.
  • The smell of Goo Gone.

—- And having that damned wallpaper off the walls. —-

Wage a battle against embitterment and take part in Grace in Small Things. Thanks to Schmutzie, as always.

Goo Gone is amazing stuff, isn’t it? Works like a dream. I also keep it handy for scrapbooking and cardmaking – - if some of the adhesive gets on your table or work area, it cleans it right up! (Yeah, I know – - doesn’t take much to impress me!)

Did you use a steamer? And yes…Goo Gone is wonderful stuff. It’s so nice to have wallpaper off the walls. I’ll never put up even a border in my home!

Wallpaper=ick. I finally took down that last little “previous owner” border in my laundry room last year. Aaaah, freedom.

I think not having a 6:45 flight would make me the happiest! That is great!

Oh, dear Lord! Did it really take Goo Gone to get the wall paper off? That shit was stuck but good! But at least it does smell good and citrus-y.
Curious how you worked WTF into a convo with your mom? ;-)
